Four generations (unfortunately, I’m generation #2 and am the photographer!) making lefse to ship to family in Florida and Indiana. Mia, 5, actually rolled approximately 2/3 of the lefse this year. Ella, 1 month, couldn’t have cared less!

Thanksgiving at the Knaus’s

Enjoy! We sure did. It was dinner for only 3 last year, so I took the time to go a little snap happy. When I moved to Kansas from Minnesota several years ago, I just had to learn to make lefse because very few people here even knew what it was. I discovered I couldn’t go out and buy it anywhere! My mother, daughter and I made it together one time when she came to visit, and I’ve been making it with my daughter ever since. This tradition is a blessing. – Liz
